History

ConocoPhillips has a long-standing U.S. Supplier Diversity Program, which attracts competitive suppliers, estimulates local economic development, and creates long-lasting social benefits to our stakeholder communities. Through the Supplier Diversity program the company actively participates in developing and utilizing diverse and small local businesses in the United States.  ConocoPhillips is an active corporate member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, and has board representation with their affiliates in the regions where we operate. The company's program facilitates inclusion of certified minority-owned, women-owned, and small businesses.

 Mission
The mission of ConocoPhillips Supplier Diversity Program is to be the proponent of supply base management that facilitates inclusion of certified minority-owned, women-owned, and small businesses in a manner that stimulates the local economies where we live and work, and accomplishes our global procurement strategy.

 

 



Supplier Diversity Department
The Supplier Diversity department is aligned through the Lower 48 Supply Chain Organization and sustains collaborative efforts with our Global Supply Chain. The program receives strategic direction and execution from Tami Hunter, Supplier Diversity Lead. 
 Membership
 
ConocoPhillips is an active corporate member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Houston Minority Supplier Development Council, Mountain Plains Minority Supplier Development Council, Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council, Southern Region Minority Supplier Diversity Council, the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance, and the Women’s Business Council South.
